Policies and Procedures

Rates:

Piano and Voice Lesson Monthly Rates:       30 Min Lessons -$90                          45 Min Lessons - $135

Little Music Classes: $75 per Month

Welcome Packet (usually one per family unless requested per Student) - $10

The Welcome Packet includes:

 - Binder

 - Spiral notebook for lesson notes

 -Dividers to keep Materials organized

 - Pencil pouch for practice game materials

 - Additional learning tools and resources designed to help the student succeed.

 

I purchase these supplies at the beginning of each school year when prices are lowest. The packet fee is provided at cost, and no profit is made from these materials.

Annual Material fee - (Due once per calendar year in August) - $35

This fee helps cover the supplemental resources used throughout the year including but not limited to: 

 - Educational Games​ and Teaching Materials

- Printing and Copying cost

 - Supplemental Music and Theory Resources beyond required books

- Licensed Educational Materials

- Annual Registration fee for Texas Music Association Student Affiliate Program

These resources allow me to provide a well-rounded and engaging learning experience while ensuring students have access to materials that support their success.

Camp Fees - Camp fees cover all camp cost. 

​

Books - Students are responsible for supplying and/or paying for Piano or Voice lesson books/music.

There are some books that I have studio licenses for to make it cheaper for you. I will only charge you the printing cost.

Little Music Classes

​

Registrations fees - The Little music classes registration fees go directly to The Royal Conservatory for registration into the class and gives you access to their app. This fee happens twice a year, once per a semester August-December and January- May. 

​

Payments

​

I accept Cash, check, Cash App, Venmo and Zelle as forms of payment.  Payments are due by the first lesson or class of each month. This is a flat rate no matter how many days you come whether there are 2 weeks or 5 weeks. Usually all of the months even out the cost.

Missed Lessons , Classes or Cancellations

If a student will be absent for any reason, please notify me by text at 801-870-3138 as soon as possible. if an alternative lesson or class time is available during the same week, I will gladly offer a makeup session, However makeup availability cannot be guaranteed. 

​

Punctuality - Please make every effort to arrive on time. Students who arrive late will still finish at their regulary scheduled ending time, as extending lessons impacts others students schedules. Ex. Lessons is Scheduled from 4pm - 4:30. if the Student arrives at 4:10. The lesson will still conclude at 4:30pm.

 

Recitals and Performances - I strongly encourage all students to participate in at least one Recital or Performance each year. This helps them to grow and improve on many different skills emotionally, socially and mentally.
